This week was a really good week! Well it's always a good week, but this week two of the families we are teaching went to church! One of these families we contacted on tuesday, and the mom and three of her kids went! The only thing that I didn't like is that I had to sit up front as part of the choir, so I couldn't sit with them... BUT stake conference was AMAZING! Theme was Matthew 28:19-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." There was a lot of talks about the importance of missionary work, and the stake president invited all the non-members in the audience to be baptized. Santos Guadalupe and his son Miguel Angel took this invitation personally, and now are even more excited to be baptized!
This week I read Mosiah 4:19, and it really struck me. It says, "For behold, are we not all beggars? Do we not all depend upon the same Being, even God, for all the substance which we have, for both food and raiment, and for gold, and for silver, and for all the riches which we have of every kind?" In this chapter, it's talking about the importance to be charitable and loving others. I've read this verse so many times before, but this time it really made me think. We receive everything from God, and the least we can do to show our gratitude is to share it and use it to lift others up. It made me think of what I can do to help others more. I invite all of you to read Mosiah 4 and think about how you can apply it to your life. I promise that it is definitely worth your while.
I love y'all!
