We had a ward movie night on Saturday, and we watched Meet the Mormons. It was a lot of fun, and we had 4 investigators show up! Valeria and her cousin Joselin came with Maria, Valeria's mom. Enrique and Diana were the other investigators, and when we visited them yesterday, they said they loved the movie night! I feel so blessed because Hermana Monson and I are finally starting to see our investigators progress and start growing their own testimonies.
However, it's bittersweet because Hermana Monson is transferring tomorrow. She is going to go to San Jose, and Hermana Gonzalez in San Jose is going to be my trainer for the last little bit of my training. I'm really sad to see Hermana Monson go, but I know that Hermana Gonzalez is going to help me a lot, especially with my spanish. I had a feeling transfers were going to happen early this 6 weeks because on thursday we all had interviews with the President. The president is so great, even though he is super busy, he really cares about all of the missionaries here.
I'm so grateful to be a missionary here! Sometimes, I see my name tag in the reflection in a car window, when I'm talking to someone in the street, and I feel so amazing because I'm starting to really feel like a missionary. The ward really is amazing, and the members are so willing to help and give their all, even when they don't always have a lot to give. They really are examples for me, and being around them makes me want to be better. I know that God loves the people here. I hope that I can be the missionary that I need to be to help the people here feel the love God has for them.
Until next week!
