The grandkids in the Hernandez Family moved out of the grandma's house with their mom, and they are living in a different area. Right now we are trying to find their new address. We are calling the boyfriend of one of the granddaughters (because none of the granddaughters have phones), but he is always working and at the university in class, so he hasn't visited his girlfriend yet. We saw Victor again and we set up a new time for his baptism. His problem is that he thinks he needs to be perfect before his baptism. But, he is so different now; he's smiling more and he just looks more at peace. He talked to his mom about the Word of Wisdom and now she isn't drinking coffee!
It rained again, and this time we had an appointment with one of our investigators in an area that floods really bad. We were soaked! However, I like it more when it rains, because it's cool outside. When it's sunny I'm sweating so bad, but it's a lot better now than in August or July. I'm at the point that when I'm in AC I'm dying because I'm so cold.
I'm so pumped for General Conference in saturday and sunday! I missed General Women's Conference because we had two really important lessons, and we found out the day of the conference, so we didn't have time to reschedule. I'm going to try to watch a bit today. I love that we have prophet of God here in this day, because it means God loves us so much that He called someone to help us know how we can have more happiness and peace in our lives. I officially have four months in the mission, and these four months have been such a blessing for me. I love being here and I love serving the Lord. I've had many ups and downs in my mission, but the blessing and good times definitely outweigh the hardships. I know God is proud of me and the effort I am putting forth to serve the people here. I love all of you and I hope all of you have an amazing week!
Until next week!
