This week was weird, but also really great! In the beginning of the week, I had 3 companions, because Hna Ramirez and Hna Lopez arrived on Tuesday and Hna Moreno left Wednesday afternoon. Also, we had a MIRACLE! Dania and Daniel were really excited to get baptized, but they live with their grandma and their mom is in another state and doesn't have a phone. So getting the consent was a little complicated, but their mom called this week! We got the consent and Daniel and Dania got baptized! The baptism was so pretty and we ended it with tres leches cake to celebrate! We are finding a lot of people and things are going really well! Also, I got to talk to my family, so that just made the week even better!
This sunday a sister in the ward said, "the Lord's timing is perfect." This week proved that to me. When I got the call about transfers, I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed. I loved working with Hna Moreno. But the Lord's timing is perfect, and it was time for a change. Sometimes we resist the changes in life that God gives to us, because it is hard or uncomfortable, but these are the times when Heavenly Father is telling us that we learned our lesson and now it's time to learn another; now it's time to progress and become a little bit more like Him. These changes in our lives are opportunities, precious opportunities that will only come in this time in our lives. Even though sometimes we will experience "growing pains" we can have the confidence that our Savior has already walked this path, and if we let Him, He will guide us on this path until we get safely home. I know He is just waiting to help us, lift us up, heal us, and guide us. We just need to accept His help and show our gratitude for Him.
I love y'all!
