This week was pretty good. It rained a few days, so it was nice to have some cloudy days. So this week we discovered more of our area because half of it are new neighborhoods that don´t show up on our map. We are now teaching the daughter-in-law of a member, and she is really sweet. She is always waiting for us when we show up at her house. We had to search for a while to find it because it's in one of these new neighborhoods, but while we were searching we found a place that sells really good bollos, it's like ice cream in a ziploc bag. We went there about 3 times last week to buy bollos; they're only 6 pesos, so it's pretty cheap. On Saturday night we got that infamous call. There are transfers! Hermana Moreno is going to open area in Rio Bravo, another city close by, and I am going to train! I'm just grateful that all the newbies are latinas, because I don't want to have to teach Spanish, especially because I still have a strong american accent, despite my best efforts. I still don't know who will be my "daughter." I'll find out tomorrow. She is either going to be from Mexico, Guatemala, or Peru.
I'm not going to lie when they told me that I was going to train, I felt pretty inadequate. I know I'm a good missionary, but I know I have so much room to improve. But a memory came to my mind, when I finished my training, my zone leader asked me if I had to train right then, if I would be ready. My response was that if I was called to train right then, it would be God's will and that He would qualify me for the job. I know that now God is calling me to train, and I know that He will help me to be a good example and teacher. I feel so humbled that God is trusting me to help teach a new missionary how to be a representative of Jesus Christ and how to invite people to come unto Christ. I´m excited for this time to learn from the Spirit and this new missionary!
I love y´all!
