This week was full of meetings: training to be a trainer, practice for a choir for President Pieper, the real meeting with President Pieper, and all the normal ones. But it was great! President Pieper, president of the Mexico Area in the church, taught us some really great things, and I was super close to having an interview with him and his wife, but sadly it didn't happen. My new companion is Hermana Garcia. She's from Veracruz, Veracruz, and she is 19. She is wonderful! She literally knows how to do everything already because she worked with the sister missionaries in her ward a bunch. She said that when she wasn't in school she went with the sisters the whole day, even ate in the member's house with them. So it's a relief for me because I really don't have to do much to train her.
Something we learned from President Pieper was how to teach our investigators how to become self-sufficient spiritually speaking. All the things he told us were great, but something that struck me was something about his wife Sister Pieper. Sister Pieper and Hermana Morales have a quality in common. You can just see them, and you feel their love. Their countenance just shines with the Spirit and you can see that they really love those around them. To me their countenance is the countenance that truly has charity. Really charity is something essential for us to feel. In Moroni 7:46, it literally explains to us that if we don't charity, then we are nothing. We must seek to have charity and act with charity to all those around us. I know that as we do that, we will be filled with happiness and the Spirit.
I love y'all!
