This week was a lesson in patience and always having hope. Hermana Moreno's feet were hurting her pretty bad. We've been walking so much that she had a ton of blisters. We learned to use our time wisely this week too. But I don't want y'all to think that we were dying in the hot sun the whole week; we had some super great moments this week. Moments like when our investigators are all ready waiting outside for us to pass by to take them to church, and when our converts say in their prayers that nothing will keep them from going to the temple. We found Kevin, Yair, and Azael!! They are kids from a family in Loma Linda. Kevin and Yair are Hna Moreno's converts, and I was teaching Azael before I left Loma Linda. I LOVE THIS FAMILY SO MUCH!!!! Their house was our refuge during la Canicula, the REALLY hot time in summer. The kids still live in Loma Linda, but dad's work in here in Valle Alto. I was so happy to see them!
Well, this week taught me a lot that attitude is everything. If we keep on trusting in the Lord, believing that good things are going to come through our efforts to do what is right, the Lord will bless us and give us the means to do His work in His way. Heavenly Father always keeps His promises, so we can always trust Him. I love being here, serving the Lord and His children. Through teaching others about Christ, I have learned more about Him and how to be more like Him. I feel the love of my Father in Heaven and my Savior for me and for those around me. We are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives! We never were, never are, and never will be alone because our Savior, Jesus Christ, is there with us all the way, willing to help us get up, cleaned off, and back home safe and sound. All we need to do is take His hand and walk with Him.
I love y'all!
