This week was pretty good; we had a miracle happen yesterday! When the investigator drops the missionaries, some missionaries say that they "died" as a joke. Well some of our old investigators resurrected! One of the investigators we dropped a month ago, because he was never home and his wife didn't really want him to listen, is friends with one of the members, and in church this member told us that the wife of our old investigator was in an accident. We decided we should pass by and see if we could help with anything. When we knocked on the gate, Diana, the daughter, came out and we said we passed by to help out and visit them, if they had time. She asked her mom if they had time, and she said yes! She literally never said that before; she was always saying they were too busy. We taught almost the whole family, their other kid wasn't home, and it went pretty well. We have a time to go back, and we are going to bring a someone to give the mom a blessing to help her recover.
Because of all the rain that we've had recently, the mosquitoes are really bad in some areas. I started to carry my bug spray around with me, and that helps. Without it, my companion and I look like crazy people walking down the street, hitting ourselves every three seconds. I hope that with the temperature change the mosquitoes will go away.
On sunday, one of the inactives we have been visiting went to church for the first time in about 20 years. It was so awesome to have him there and see him remember how great it is to go to church. We hope that he will continue to go to church, because it really is there to help us learn and receive strength. Also Sunday was the primary program, when all the little kids sing a bunch of songs, and it was so cute. I actually teared up because I felt the Spirit so strong when they were singing "Sé que me ama Jesus" or "I know that the Savior loves me" is the name of the song in English. I really felt that Christ really does love them. I know that He loves the people here.. I have felt it time and time again, so I can't deny it. I know that I'm here because the Savior loves the people here, and He wants for them to feel His love and know the way to go back to Him.
I love y'all!
