Welp I didn't write yesterday because I was with Hna Gonzalez all day in a meeting with all the missionaries that went home today. Hna Moreno didn't show up until today from Valle Hermoso, and I have to have a companion, so I stayed in President Regalado and Hermana Regalado's house with Hna Gonzalez. When Hna Gonzalez left, I was with Hermana Regalado. The mission house is super nice, so I can't complain. This week was pretty good. On Sunday Laura got baptized. Even though I've only known her for a week, I am so amazed by her faith. She really loves the Lord. In other news, I still don't know a lot of the area, but at least I know how to get to the house. Also our really old telephone, its like a brick that you have to talk on it backwards because the little speaker doesn't work on the side of the buttons, finally gave up the ghost, so we got a different phone! The only problem is now we don't have anyone's number. I like this area, even though it is ridiculously hot. The ward is great, and the ward mission leader is the best!
When I opened area in March with Hna Moreno, I always said "At least it's not the Canícula!" I always thought that I wouldn't be able to do that, but now that I am basically opening area again, I'm understanding more than ever that the Lord really knows our limits. He knows that we can do more than we think, and He gives us challenges to strengthen us and help us see that we are able of so much more. It makes me think of Helaman12:27. As we come unto Christ, we will see our weaknesses, but we need not be discouraged, we can trust that we are in the hands of our loving Heavenly Father, who knows us perfectly and will not give us more than we can do without His divine help. As we trust in Him and submit ourselves to His will, He will make us strong and better than before. This I know to be true. I have felt His hands guiding me on, molding me into someone that is more like His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that y'all can feel it too in our hearts, if you are willing to open it to the ifluence of the Holy Ghost.
I love y'all!
