Well... there isn't snow, but with the Christmas devotional (click here to watch) last night I feel like it's the Christmas Season more. Also, Hna Gonzalez and I are singing a lot of Christmas songs. This week was pretty good.
Azael went to church again! Right now we are just waiting to talk with his mom to get her permission for him to get baptized. I hope that we can start to teach her too, but she's in Monterrey a lot until the new year. Ana went to church at Loma Linda for the first time! She's gone a couple times with her sister-in-law, that's a member, in another ward. Ana's husband is a member, but he hasn't gone to church for 15 years, and none of their five kids are baptized. We have a family home evening planned for tomorrow, so we'll see how that will go. Ana is so good! She reads the Book of Mormon to her kids, and she writes notes on what she's read. She's already highlighting her scriptures and everything. It makes me so happy to see her because you can just see the difference in her face. She's so excited to learn and to teach her kids. Nora is going to live with her sister, so we gave her all the information she needed to find the missionaries over there for her to keep on learning. It's really impressed me the changes she is willing to make in her life to be closer to God and teach her son about Him.
I love this gospel. I know it's true. I feel so grateful for my Savior, because with Him I can do all things. I feel so blessed to know this, and I want everyone in the world to know it. It is the only thing that will give us the strength to overcome all challenges and live in never-ending joy with our families. It sounds like the gospel is something too good to be true, but I promise you that it is true. You can know that it is too. All you need to do is pray with faith and the intention to act on the answer, and God will answer you.
I love y'all!
