Well first things first Happy Birthday to all my family that had their birthday last week and today!! To some it might be a bit late, but it's better than never! This week was good and full of surprises! On Tuesday night we got a call from the assistants, and there were surprise transfers! Now we are a trio!!! Hermana Deoporto is our new addition to the companionship. She's super great and has pretty much been in almost every area of the hermanas, and she only has a year in the mission. Hermana Deoporto literally is like the chocolate filling of a truffle. She's super sweet and just looking at her you feel her love. I love her and always wanted her to be my companion! We took the president of the Relief Society with us to some lessons, and SHE TEACHES LIKE A MASTER!!!! I love listening to her! Also she bought some food for some of our investigators that are really struggling, and I really saw the love and charity she has for others.
I have seen a lot of amazing people in my mission, and I realized that something that all of them have in common is charity and love. I have really come to understand the scripture Moroni 7:46-47 when it says "if ye have not charity, ye are nothing" because without charity we can't progress; we can never become like Christ. How can we become like Christ if we can't have charity or the pure love of Christ? It's impossible. The amazing thing about charity is that it never fails, it is stronger than any trial and bigger than our fears. It is something that as we share and show it, it will grow and become stronger. I am working on having more charity, and I invite all of you to do the same. It will help us and the world be better.
I love y'all!
