Happy Independence Day! I put on red, white, and blue on purpose, and my companion is wearing white and blue, so she is also celebrating, even though she didn't that the 4th of July is a holiday. This week was pretty good, even though we had some unforeseen trials. The good thing is that with every trial there comes a blessing! So Presidente Regalado is super cool. We had interviews today with him by companionships, and he is jumping in this work. He is really excited to get to work and support us in everything. He said that he wasn't going to change things, but he wanted us to bring the mission to a new level. So now everyone in the mission is working to bring more people to the truth. On Wednesday, we have transfers. Hna Gonzalez is going to Puertas del Sol with Hna Palmer (so we will be in the same zone still), and Hna Dávila, who is from Lima, Peru, will be my new companion! I'm kind of sad because I thought Hna Gonzalez and I were going to complete 6 months together (if you put the time from the first time around and now the second time we had about 5 and half months together), but at the same time I'm really pumped to work with Hna Dávila. She's really adorable, kind, and positive. Hna Gonzalez worked with her before and told me that we are going to get along great.
In a meeting we had with Presidente Regalado and Hermana Regalado, Presidente Regalado said that we tithe our time as missionaries and we give our effort as an offering. An elder commented on that saying that with tithing we only give 10% and its a fixed amount, but our fast offerings should be generous. So, we should give all that we can in our effort to serve others right now. It made me think about the ways I can give more of my effort and energy to my Heavenly Father. Hermana Regalado then talked about receiving their mission call here to Reynosa. She talked about how we need to give everything to the Lord, and He will give us so much more back. She talked about how when we put the Lord first and are exactly obedient, we will see miracles. I think what I've learned most in this area is that when we serve the Lord, we give it our best and we keep being diligent. Also I've really felt that serving God isn't something that we do just on the mission or when we have a calling or assignment, it's something we do all the time. We should work to give our all to God all the time. Because He works through us, it is essential that we do what He asks us to do.
I love y'all!

P.S. Shout out to my amazing Mom! Happy Birthday! You are my best friend, and I know you are always there for me! I hope that one day I can be as wonderful as you! I love you so much!
