I don't have a lot of time! I love you!
Sorry, today I only had about 15 minutes to write earlier. Today we had a sports day with all the missionaries, so we were doing about 15 minute cycles on the office computers.
So a few weeks ago a guy told us he wanted us to teach his daughter about God, but we never found his daughter at the address he gave us. This week we were in the area, so we decided to try one more time. She was there, and she is so sweet! We want to try to teach her and her family all together. Abril, that´s her name, was so happy when she saw that we were there.
We also taught a woman named Lorena. When we contacted her, she said she was praying for someone to come and help her understand the scriptures, and then we came, and that we must be her answer. She was so excited to get the Book of Mormon. She actually cried saying that she had been praying to learn more of God´s word, and she said she knew that the Book of Mormon is her answer. I actually started to tear up when she was saying this because it reminded me of how much joy the gospel brings into our lives, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is my message that I´m trying to share with the people here.
My mission is really showing me all my weaknesses. I hope it´s like the scripture Ether 12:27, because it says that as we come unto Christ He will show us our weaknesses first. However, this scripture has a great promise, that if we humble ourselves before Christ, then He will make our weak things strengthes. Like the new apostles said yesterday, I am evidence that the Lord works through weak and small things to bring to pass His great work. However, I know, like Ammon in Alma 26:12, that with the Lord I can do all things, and with the Lord, I am strong. Remember that God and Jesus Christ love you and I do too!
