So my mission president loves to keep us on our toes, so my district leader got a call on Saturday, and he leaves to another city, Valle Hermosa, tomorrow. Yup. That's usually how transfers go, and we are going to see more transfers next week! We don't know exactly what is going to happen, but President has told us all (the hermanas in San Jose) that we're leaving San Jose.... I think that President to going to open 2 new areas for las hermanas, but who really knows???
Well honestly I don't remember much of this last week... it might be because I didn't write in my journal at all, but it was a great week! Jazmin went to church and loved it! Jazmin's sister got baptized last year, and Jazmin went to church for a while when she was a teenager, but stopped going because her parents didn't let her continue going. WELL now years later, she has two adorable energy-filled kids and one on the way. She is so sweet, and she is so happy whenever she sees us. We also found a couple families with a lot of promise, so we'll what happens with them.
Well, this week I was studying in Omni 1 in the Book of Mormon, and I'd like to share verse 26 with y'all. It says, "And now, my beloved brethren, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved." The part that I loved was the part that says "offer your whole souls as an offering unto him," because oftentimes we are willing to give part of ourselves to Christ, but not everything. However, this tendency is something we must strive to overcome. As we give our all to Christ, He will give us so much more than we can imagine. This week a recent convert went to the temple with his wife and son for the first time, and when I asked him if he ever imagined that his life would be like this, he said with a huge smile on his face, "Oh Hermana, I never have imagined that my life would be like this. I have so many blessings now." I know that God loves us so much, and He has so many blessings He is willing to give us. If we just do His will, He can pour out this blessings into our lives. I know the gospel is true! I live it, and I love it!
I love y'all!
